Every tattoo starts with a story - whether it's just for fun or holds deep meaning, it begins with you. We opened Ash Gray Ink in 2021 to create a space where artists could be themselves and clients could feel confident trusting us with their skin. Our team works in many styles - realism, illustration, dark art - and we’ve been honored with awards along the way. But what matters most is giving you a good experience : solid work, in a clean and welcoming studio.
Ash Gray Ink was founded in 2021 as a home for artistry, connection, and creativity. We wanted to create a space where artists could fully express themselves, and where clients could feel confident trusting us with their skin. Our team works across a range of styles - from realism and illustration to dark art -driven by passion and dedication to the craft. We’re proud to be a multi-award-winning studio, recognized for delivering tattoos that blend precision, individuality, and artistry. Yes, we do! First come, first serve basis. Reminder that studio is closed on Mondays and Thursdays.
Get a goods night rest and eat before your appointment. More than welcome to bring things to help you through the session, bring your own snacks and water or book/laptop
Deposits are non-refundable but they go towards your tattoo total (taken off the last session if theres multiple sessions). Once deposit is paid then artists will get started on designing and we will also book your appointment to secure date and time!
Yes you can! We’ll try our best to accommodate the space for them to be here for you
Everyone has different pain tolerances so it’s hard to say on what scale tattoos hurt for everyone. Different areas are more painful than others but mostly all tolerable
Everyone heals differently. On average, you’re looking at 2 weeks for the surface to heal. On week 4+ your tattoo should be healing internally.

Most artists have their own process on when they send out designs, this will be discussed during the consultation. Feel free to directly discuss with your artist about any design changes
Depends on what kind of cover-up/touch up. We will try our best to give you the best advice moving forward based on our experience
Unfortunately, we do not accept under 18 years old even with parental/guardian agreement
For the safety of your baby and yourself, no we don’t recommend this. There can be serious risks of infection
